What You Will Do - Essential Functions

  • Drive provider performance improvement and value-based care initiatives by analyzing provider data, identifying performance opportunities and outliers, supporting the transition to value-based contracting models, and developing targeted improvement plans for underperforming providers.

  • Serve as a clinical and provider relations liaison by partnering with internal clinical, quality, and analytics teams as well as network providers to enhance collaboration, improve clinical outcomes, address provider needs, and support effective communication across stakeholders.

  • Lead provider education and network development efforts by creating and implementing programs, delivering training and educational resources, coordinating workshops and meetings, promoting best practices, and developing specialized services that meet the needs of diverse and high-risk member populations.

Who You Are

  • Required Qualifications
    • Master’s Degree in behavioral health field and has a current, unrestricted state license to practice independently as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist or Registered Nurse in the state in which the business operation is located and/or other states as required by law, regulation or contract
    • Minimum of two (2) years post-licensure clinical experience of clinical practice.
    • Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in the principles, concepts and techniques of health care management related to substance use and/or mental health.
    • Knowledge of outcomes-based reimbursement strategies; behavioral health clinical protocols; contract negotiation, customer relationship management, substance use step-down levels of care within residential, inpatient and outpatient settings.
    • Experience conducting financial analysis by working with claim data and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to develop a business strategy.
    • Proven track record of working as a team player to achieve business related goals that improve the quality and cost of care.
    • Computer savvy with proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
    • Must be able to travel up to 50%.
    • Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
    • Ability to pass a background check upon hire and throughout employment which includes: County and Federal Criminal Records Search - felonies and misdemeanors ; InstaCriminal Multi-State Alias Search - National Sex Offender Registry, Multi-State Criminal Database, SSN validation and trace, and Most Wanted Lists (OFAC); Excluded Parties List System (EPLS)/SAM search - individuals/entities debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from receiving federal contracts, subcontracts, or federal assistance; Education Verification; Employment Verification; FACIS Level I - Sanctions or exclusions for federal and state healthcare programs; 10-panel drug screening; and E-Verify: Lucet does not use E-Verify to pre-screen applicants and complies with federal regulations prohibiting discrimination based on national origin or citizenship status.

    • Working Conditions:
      • Work is performed from home with company-provided equipment. Sitting for long periods of time is expected and use of fingers and hands for typing is necessary.
      • A quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls.
      • High-speed internet service (cable or fiber optic) with minimum download Speed of 20 Mbps, Upload Speed of 5 Mbps, and Maximum Latency of 100 milliseconds (must be installed before starting).
