In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to clinical and operational leaders, leveraging advanced analytics, data visualization, and healthcare expertise to support data-driven decision making across the health system. You'll act as a bridge between data sources, reporting teams, and business stakeholders while providing expert analysis of clinical performance data.
What You'll Do
• Analyze complex clinical and operational data from multiple sources using tools such as SQL, SAS, and data warehouse technologies to identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights.
• Develop interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Tableau and other analytics tools to communicate findings to clinical and operational leaders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical quality measures, disease states, CMS-focused populations, and hospital care processes, connecting data insights to patient outcomes and organizational goals.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to support strategic, clinical, and performance improvement initiatives through advanced statistical and analytical methodologies.
• Mentor and support Quality Performance Analysts and other team members while collaborating with analytics and reporting teams to improve processes, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency.
Who You Are
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics and reporting within an information technology, healthcare analytics, or related environment.
• Experience working with the Epic Clarity data model required.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with experience using SQL, data visualization tools, and advanced analytics platforms such as SAS.
• Healthcare experience, particularly within an acute care environment, is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Epic Certification, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or other relevant clinical or analytics certifications are a plus.
• Able to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
