Clinical Project Manager (CNS/Rare Disease) - Remote - Brazil ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation united by a mission to bring new medicines and treatments to patients faster. As a Clinical Project Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for leading and coordinate project activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You Will Do: Your focus will be on coordinating project and program management delivery, resolving issues, and developing team capability. Key responsibilities include: Developing and managing detailed clinical project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery. Leading cross-functional project teams, coordinating efforts to meet project objectives, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing strategies to address challenges and keep projects on track. Engaging with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals and organizational objectives. Preparing and presenting project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders. Ability to adapt and implement process change. Your Profile: You will have solid project and program management experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team. Required qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s degree in life science, project management, business, or related fields Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for this position and a minimum of 3 years of direct global clinical project management experience Clinical Project management experience from CRO with specialized skillsets of small to midsize biotech clients. Proven track record of successfully managing clinical projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering results within scope, time, and budget constraints. Experience and expertise in managing change orders and negotiations with sponsor/client. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations. CNS/Rare Disease indication experience Willingness to travel as required (approximately 30%) #LI-Remote #LI-AR1 Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
