About xCures

The best of medicine should belong to everyone. Nobody dreams of becoming good at being a patient. We have people to love, things we want to do, and plans we hope to keep. Illness already asks enough of us.

xCures® exists to give healthcare the capacity to care for everyone. Healthcare has more to give. Too much of its time, money, and talent goes into unnecessary work that keeps people waiting and drives up the cost of care. Freeing those resources can make excellent care possible for far more people.

xCures understands a patient’s history across the places they receive care and keeps that understanding current. It puts trusted information in the hands of the people who need it, when they need it, and uses that knowledge to take on more of the administrative work around care. Every extracted data point traces back to the exact document and page it came from.

Our ambition is to empower doctors to make better decisions, enable researchers to develop better treatments faster, and help healthcare organizations serve more people with fewer errors and lower costs. We work with diagnostic labs, providers, telehealth companies, health systems, payers, and consumer health platforms. We are a fully remote, venture-backed team that holds itself to the same standard as our product: trustworthy, precise, and purposeful.

We are building for the lives people want to live.

Here’s Where You’ll Make An Impact:

xCures is deepening its work with chronic care programs and telehealth channel partners, and this role puts a clinician at the center of it. Reporting to the Vice President of Scientific and Medical Affairs, you will be the clinical voice in those partner relationships. You will speak directly with clinicians and clinically trained leaders on the partner side, peer to peer. You will translate what their care teams need into what the xCures Clinical Clarity Engine can deliver, then carry it back to the platform teams. The reach goes well beyond any single clinic.

The platform supports care for thousands of patients across the country every day, and your judgment shapes how that history reaches decision-makers. If you want your clinical experience to influence care at that scale, this is where you will make that impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the clinical liaison across chronic care and telehealth channel partner relationships, defining data needs, setting expectations, and translating clinical and operational requirements into workable plans that fit platform capabilities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on chronic disease management and clinical data during partner meetings and external engagements.
  • Lead partner conversations on data quality and extractor validation, explaining how the Clinical Clarity Engine surfaces the chronic disease history a care team needs (diagnoses, medications, labs, comorbidities), with every data point traced to its source document.
  • Support partner programs by advising on the interpretation, provenance, and internal use of the clinical data the platform produces through its validated extractors.
  • Bring partner requirements to internal Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to shape chronic care features and data offerings.
  • Collaborate with channel partners on case studies of new and emerging health technology, and lead joint publications and thought leadership with partners and external clinicians.
  • Represent xCures at conferences and health tech venues, presenting how the platform advances chronic care through emerging health technology, in support of the business development team.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active clinical licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA); an MD, DO, or other advanced clinical degree also qualifies.
  • Superior written and verbal communication, with the credibility to lead the conversation when presenting to senior executives at health systems and technology companies.
  • Working knowledge of chronic disease management across common conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease).
  • 4+ years of combined clinical practice and stakeholder-facing experience (medical affairs, clinical liaison, or clinical program roles).
  • Ability to translate complex clinical and scientific concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences.
  • Working knowledge of electronic medical records and the healthcare data landscape (e.g., HIE, QHIN, TEFCA).
  • Understanding of data quality principles, validation processes, and how to assess the provenance and limits of clinical data.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clinical leaders, executives, and internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Business Development).
  • Track record of managing multiple complex, unrelated projects at once, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfort working remotely and with virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-phase startup environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Direct clinical experience caring for patients with chronic conditions.
  • Experience working with structured clinical data.
  • Experience supporting telehealth or virtual care organizations, or working within a channel partner model.
  • Familiarity with value-based care, population health, or chronic care management programs.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape governing clinical data use in healthcare.
