As a Clinical Content Specialist, you will research, evaluate, develop, and maintain clinical content based on medical literature and Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) principles.

You will work closely with physicians, clients, Product Development, Product Management, Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, IT, and other business functions to support clinical products, processes, and solutions.


Work Setup: Work from Home

Location: Makati

Shift: Graveyard shift, between 7:00 PM–10:00 PM start


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update clinical content using Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) principles.
  • Appraise and synthesize information from medical literature.
  • Incorporate feedback from external peer reviewers and clients to ensure clinical accuracy and usability.
  • Perform quality assurance of clinical content and maintain clinical documentation.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Product Management, Product Owners, and Business Systems Analysts.
  • Participate in project planning, task monitoring, and timely delivery of clinical development projects.
  • Contribute to field research supporting product advancement.
  • Provide clinical guidance for technology-enabled clinical solutions and strategies.
  • Support the development and enhancement of end-to-end clinical processes and systems.
  • Provide clinically relevant research and analysis of clinical data and business processes.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Licensed Physician.
  • Board-certified or Diplomate in Internal Medicine or a recognized Internal Medicine subspecialty.
  • At least 5 years of independent clinical practice experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on clinical experience in an independent practice setting or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of inpatient hospital experience.
  • Direct patient care experience beyond residency or formal clinical training.
  • Experience must be from independent practice; residency or training experience does not count toward the required 5 years.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, clinically supported documentation and communicate with physician panels.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.


Good-to-Have

  • Experience in utilization management, case management, or managed care.
  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience with Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) and research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated clinical writing experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD and CPT.
  • Broad clinical exposure across Acute Care, Critical Care, Ambulatory Care, and Pediatrics.
  • Familiarity with technology-enabled clinical workflows and basic software development life cycles.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
