NHS Supply Chain is seeking a clinically qualified professional with specialist expertise in Interventional Radiology to join our Clinical Team. Working in partnership with procurement colleagues, you will lead a dedicated clinical portfolio, providing expert advice to support the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective products and services for NHS organisations nationwide.

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Lead, you will use your clinical knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills to influence product strategy, range optimisation, and service resilience. Working closely with NHS providers, professional bodies, and suppliers, you will help ensure our product offerings support patient safety, improved outcomes, and sustainable value across the healthcare system.

Every day you will …

  • Engage with clinicians, NHS providers and procurement teams to understand product requirements and support service improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure clinical needs are reflected in product decisions.
  • Lead product evaluations, develop specifications and use clinical data to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Drive product optimisation and standardisation initiatives that improve patient outcomes, service resilience and value.
  • Provide clinical leadership across projects, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and successful delivery of key objectives.
  • Collaborate with NHS organisations, professional bodies and industry partners to remain aligned with national strategies, best practice and emerging developments.
  • Work flexibly from home with regular travel to NHS hospitals and NHS Supply Chain locations, engaging with a wide range of clinical, non-clinical and supplier stakeholders to support collaboration and service delivery.

What can we offer you?

We want to reward you for your passion, enthusiasm, and hard work so we offer much more than a competitive salary:

  • Hybrid working opportunities, giving you the flexibility to work collaboratively in the office and remotely.
  • We recognise our employees' hard work and contributions with annual bonus schemes, long service, and colleague recognition awards.
  • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • We are dedicated to your development, through in-house training, support, and access to external qualifications to maximise your potential.
  • A focus on your well-being offering 1 day of paid well-being leave and free access to the 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
  • Generous pension scheme (with us contributing 12% when you contribute 6%)
  • Access to our Flexible Benefits Scheme, where you can choose from a variety of benefits such as Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection, Health Cash Plan, Dental Insurance, and additional pension contributions that suit you.
  • 2 days of paid volunteering leave allowing you to give back to your community.
  • Access to many discounts from the Blue Light Card to NHS Discounts.
