About this role
The Clinical Support Officer provides flexible operational, administrative and improvement support across Health Programs and Clinical Operations within the Clinical Business Unit at nib.
The role contributes to better outcomes for our members by driving operational excellence across these two functional areas within the business unit. Working across reporting, administration, stakeholder coordination, clinical request administration and health program support, you'll play an essential role in keeping key services running smoothly and effectively.
Collaborating across teams, you'll identify opportunities to improve processes, support innovation initiatives and deliver meaningful business outcomes. The scope of the role includes an opportunity to lead continuous improvement initiatives, including shaping the implementation of AI-driven solutions that are enhancing the way we work. With responsibilities that evolve alongside business priorities, workloads and leave coverage needs, no two days are quite the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and creating positive change.
About you
Experience in health insurance, healthcare, clinical administration or health program delivery will be highly regarded, particularly if you bring an understanding of healthcare operations, member services or health management programs.
You'll pair this industry knowledge with strong organisational and coordination skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyse data, prepare meaningful reports, and translate insights into practical recommendations that support better outcomes for members and the business.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise judgement and deliver outcomes
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with high attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, business systems and AI-enabled tools
- Experience participating in operational improvement initiatives, workstreams or small projects
- Experience supporting automation, AI-enabled workflow improvements or business process optimisation
Don't tick every box? If this role excites you and you bring relevant experience, we'd still love to hear from you.
