Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Trial Associate to support our clinical trials through coordination, logistics, tracking, and administrative tasks. This role also involves supporting departmental operations through special projects.

Responsibilities

• Work as a clinical study team member alongside the Clinical Trial Manager (CTM), coordinating logistics and tracking tasks for clinical trials.
• Track study budgets, including invoice and PO management, reconciliation, and accruals in collaboration with the CTM and Finance.
• Monitor study status, enrollment, regulatory documentation, and site start-up status for assigned clinical projects.
• Set up, file, maintain, reconcile, and archive electronic and paper Trial Master Files.
• Enter data into Clinical Trial Management Systems and support tracking of external access rights.
• Interact with CROs, vendors, investigators, monitors, and other external partners to provide information and resolve specific requests and issues.
• Manage and track clinical and non-clinical supplies.
• Assist the CTM with agendas and meeting minutes for clinical sub-team meetings and logistics coordination for investigator and external vendor meetings.
• Coordinate site and CRO/vendor Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and contracts with the Sr. Manager Clinical Operations, legal, and finance departments.
• Facilitate site advertisement review and approval with the CCC Committee.
• Support special projects for operations and departmental initiatives such as ClinicalTrials.gov, SOPs, GCP, process enhancements, outsourcing, and Sunshine Act compliance.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors degree or equivalent undergraduate degree with science or healthcare experience.
• 1-4 years of clinical research experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech, or CRO setting.
• Prior experience in Pharma/BioTech/CRO is required.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of GCP/ICH Guidelines for conducting clinical trials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to display initiative.
• Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Capacity to work effectively in a team setting.

Work Environment

This role is based in Waltham, MA, requiring five days in-office work with potential for some hybrid flexibility. Adaptability to process and requirements changes is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Waltham, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
