Cloud Solutions Architect

At Zyzygy, we thrive on solving complex digital challenges. We are expanding our global footprint and looking for a high-caliber Cloud Solutions Architect to design, scale, and secure our next-generation cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and hands-on technical execution across Latin America and North America. As our GCP and Apigee expert, you will design scalable, secure, and highly available architectures that power our clients' modern digital ecosystems.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring alignment with Well-Architected frameworks.
• API Management & Strategy: Architect, deploy, and manage API gateways using Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid, ensuring robust security, traffic management, and analytics.
• Advanced Networking: Design complex cloud routing, hybrid connectivity (Interconnect, VPNs), VPC design, Shared VPCs, and Load Balancing topologies.
• Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security measures within GCP and Apigee platforms, including IAM, OAuth2, mTLS, and WAF integration.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor for cross-functional teams and C-level stakeholders across LATAM and North America, guiding engineering teams through migration and modernization journeys.

We value profiles with

• Mandatory Certification: Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
• Proven Experience: 5+ years as a Cloud Architect, with at least 3+ years heavily dedicated to GCP environments.
• Apigee Mastery: Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Apigee X and/or Apigee Hybrid architectures.
• Deep Networking Skills: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, VPC peering, Private Service Connect, and hybrid cloud networking topologies.
• Language Skills: Fluent English (mandatory for North America collaboration).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills to explain complex architectural decisions to both technical teams and business leaders.

It’s a plus

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
