The Lead Caregiver is a full-time, hourly position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. This role is designed for experienced, dependable caregivers who are flexible, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional, client-centered care. This position is ideal for a caregiver who values stability, can step in for urgent or high-priority client needs, and thrives as a reliable, go-to member of the care team. When 40 hours cannot be fulfilled through client shifts, additional administrative responsibilities will be assigned by the Lead Caregiver Ambassador and Care Manager to ensure full-time hours are met. Key Responsibilities Client Care Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in accordance with individualized care plans. Support urgent, last-minute assignments to ensure continuity of care. Be available and prepared to accept shifts beginning as early as 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Accurately document care and adhere to company policies and reporting procedures. Team Support & Leadership Communicate proactively with the Scheduling Team and Care Managers to finalize weekly schedules. Provide mentorship and onboarding support to new caregivers when requested. Train and assist with scheduling as directed by the Lead Caregiver Ambassador. Administrative Responsibilities Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling, shift preparation, and client visits when needed to fulfill weekly hours. Document administrative time in the designated tracking spreadsheet. Scheduling & Hours Guaranteed 40 paid hours per week. Once 40 hours are completed within the week, no additional shifts are required. Weekly schedules are developed collaboratively with the Scheduling Team, Care Manager, and Caregiver Ambassador based on client needs and priority cases. Flexibility is expected in exchange for job security and guaranteed pay. Overtime opportunities are available. Holiday Pay Policy Time and a half (1.5x hourly rate) for any shift worked on designated holidays. Paid Time Off (PTO) 10 days (80 hours) of PTO per year. Available for use after 90 days of employment. PTO may be used for vacation, sick leave, or personal days. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and reliability. Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing scheduling needs.
