About SemantiSys

SemantiSys AS builds the AI execution platform for aviation MRO. Our platform sits between enterprise maintenance systems and the shop floor: technicians get hands-free, AR-guided work instructions on smart glasses, and every completed task is verified against its source documents automatically. Zero-hallucination by design, validated across 210 adversarial test queries.

We have delivered a working demonstrator to a leading European MRO operator, been selected by Ignite Nordic for our Asia-Pacific expansion, and are raising our pre-seed round with matched public funding. Now we need an operator to build the company around the technology.

The Role

As Co-Founder and COO, you own the engine room: daily operations, execution of the company strategy, and the alignment between product development and commercial reality. You will work directly with the CEO on investor and partner conversations, own customer onboarding for our first pilots, and build the operational processes that take us from pre-seed to Series A.

This is a founding role with meaningful equity. We want someone building for the long term, not filling a seat.

This is a sweat equity role, please research what that means, it isn't a regular job with a salary but you will be given shares in the company based on a vesting schedule.

What you will do

• Run daily operations and build the processes that scale from one site to many
• Own customer onboarding and success for our first paying pilots
• Co-own fundraising: investor materials, due diligence, partner discussions
• Support enterprise sales and go-to-market in aviation MRO
• Define and track the KPIs that matter (pilot conversion, deployment time, customer outcomes)
• Build and lead the operations team as we grow

Non-negotiable requirement

Deep senior experience from Aerospace MRO: operations, quality control, or compliance leadership. You have lived the document chaos, the compliance pressure, and the shop-floor reality we are solving. Applications without this domain anchor will not be considered.

Also required

• Track record of operational leadership, ideally in a tech startup or scale-up
• Analytical rigor: you define KPIs, read data, and make decisions with it
• Communication across technical and commercial audiences, up to board and investor level
• Comfort with co-founder responsibilities: ownership, strategy, long-term commitment
• Degree in engineering, business, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, SaaS, or AR products
• Familiarity with aviation software (AMOS, TRAX, Ramco) from the operator side
• Existing network in airline or MRO leadership
