Company Description Volta Technology designs and deploys private, on-premise artificial intelligence systems installed directly within client organizations on hardware they own. This approach eliminates dependence on third-party clouds, subscriptions, and external data processing, providing full data sovereignty and enhanced confidentiality. Volta focuses on sectors where data protection is critical, including law, healthcare, finance, and other regulated or privacy-sensitive industries. Its flagship deployment, LEXIA, is in pre-production with law firms and notaries in the PACA region and Monaco, offering secure, local-access generative AI over comprehensive French and European legal corpora. Based in Nice, Volta Technology is expanding this secure AI infrastructure to healthcare, commerce, luxury hospitality, and industrial clients.
Role Description The Co-Founder CMO will lead Volta Technology’s overall marketing vision and go-to-market strategy, driving brand positioning around sovereign, on-premise AI solutions. This full-time remote role involves defining the marketing roadmap, developing messaging and narratives for key verticals, and overseeing digital, content, and partner marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, shaping product-market fit in collaboration with technical leadership, and designing campaigns that reach legal, healthcare, finance, and enterprise decision-makers. The Co-Founder CMO will build and manage a small, agile marketing and growth function, support sales efforts with compelling materials and pitches, and establish performance metrics to measure demand generation and pipeline growth. As a co-founder, this role will also contribute to high-level strategy, investor discussions, and long-term business development.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to understand complex markets, data privacy concerns, and evolving AI trends.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to craft clear narratives, positioning, and messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Candidates should possess proven Sales and Marketing skills to define go-to-market strategies, support revenue growth, and build demand in targeted verticals.
• Experience in B2B technology or AI, ideally in security- or privacy-focused products, is highly beneficial.
• Background in building or leading early-stage startup marketing functions, including brand development and growth strategies, is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment, collaborate closely with technical founders, and operate comfortably in a co-founder capacity.
• Understanding of regulated industries (legal, healthcare, finance) and their compliance or data sovereignty challenges is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is advantageous, but equivalent experience in high-impact growth roles is also valued.
