Role Description The CoilHose Operator role at Expro is a full-time hybrid position based in Labuan, with some flexibility to work from home for planning, reporting, and administrative tasks. On-site, the CoilHose Operator operates and monitors coiled hose equipment and related systems during well intervention and well services operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance. The role includes preparing equipment and tools for deployment, assisting with rig-up and rig-down activities, and adhering to all safety, environmental, and quality procedures. The CoilHose Operator documents job activities, supports data collection for operational reporting, and communicates clearly with the field supervisor and crew to coordinate tasks. The role also involves routine maintenance checks, basic troubleshooting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate CoilHose and related well service equipment, including performing basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance.
• Understanding of well intervention, well integrity, and general oil and gas field operations, or willingness to learn through structured training.
• Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, with a commitment to following procedures and supporting a safety-first culture.
• Basic technical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read operational instructions, equipment manuals, and simple technical diagrams.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to work closely with supervisors, field crews, and other service teams on site.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in field environments, including offshore or remote locations, as required.
• Relevant experience in field operations, mechanical trades, or oil and gas services is advantageous; prior CoilHose or coiled tubing experience is a plus.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certifications in mechanical, electrical, or petroleum-related disciplines are beneficial.
• Willingness to work shifts, travel to job sites, and participate in ongoing training and competency development programs.
