Job Description
The ideal candidate will be:
• Outgoing, personable and confident on the phone.
• Comfortable speaking with business owners, managers and other commercial decision-makers.
• Motivated to pick up the phone, start conversations and generate new leads.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and professional.
• Able to follow a provided script while still sounding natural and conversational.
• A good listener who can ask the right questions and recognise a potential opportunity.
• Resilient and able to handle rejection without losing motivation.
• Organised and accurate when recording prospect information and call outcomes.
• Reliable and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable working towards agreed calling and lead-generation targets.
• Equipped with a reliable internet connection, suitable computer and headset.
Performance Expectations
• This role isn't simply about making as many calls as possible.
• The focus is on having quality conversations and generating genuine potential business opportunities.
You will be expected to:
• Consistently make outbound calls during your agreed working hours.
• Approach calls with energy and confidence.
• Follow the approved calling script and process.
• Build rapport with prospective clients.
Identify and qualify genuine opportunities.
• Accurately record call outcomes and prospect information.
• Generate qualified leads for the business.
• Maintain professional communication with prospects.
• Work towards agreed activity and lead-generation targets.
Must Haves
• Two computer screens/monitors • Good-quality headset suitable for outbound calling • Reliable computer and internet connection • Quiet and professional home working environment • Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, sales, appointment setting or lead generation
Home Office Requirements
