Why This Role Matters
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you'll be a key contributor to the client experience, helping businesses secure and maintain the insurance coverage they need to protect and grow their operations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, Producers, carrier partners, and internal teams while managing a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts.
You'll play an important role in supporting account retention, operational efficiency, and overall client satisfaction. Success in this position comes from delivering responsive service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate their commercial insurance needs with confidence.
How You'll Make an Impact
Deliver exceptional service to clients, Producers, carrier representatives, and internal team members by providing accurate, timely, and professional support.
Manage the day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts, including policy changes, account maintenance, and client requests.
Rate and quote commercial insurance policies using carrier platforms and agency systems to support both new and renewal business opportunities.
Coordinate renewal submissions and assist with remarketing efforts to help secure competitive coverage solutions for clients.
Prepare proposals and supporting documentation for Producers and Sales Executives, helping drive client retention and growth.
Maintain thorough and accurate account documentation while ensuring compliance with agency procedures and service standards.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to support workflow management, client retention initiatives, and departmental priorities.

What You Bring
Day One:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, peers, and internal stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Valuable Additions:
1-3 years of commercial insurance customer service, account management, or insurance sales experience.
Active New York Property & Casualty insurance license.
Experience working with commercial insurance products, coverages, renewals, and carrier rating platforms.
Experience supporting renewal and remarketing processes.
Claims experience.
Associate's or bachelor's degree.
Experience preparing insurance proposals and supporting Producers and Sales Executives.

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
