About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Compliance professional to join our Vision business as a Commercial Compliance Manager supporting both the UK and Nordic markets.

This is a high-profile role partnering directly with business leaders, helping them navigate complex decisions, manage risk effectively and enable sustainable, ethical business growth.

Acting as a trusted adviser, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, governance and business execution, providing practical, risk-based guidance that supports the organisation in achieving its objectives while maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

Business partnering

· Act as a trusted business partner to UK and Nordic leadership teams.

· Provide practical, commercially focused compliance guidance on strategic initiatives, business activities and emerging opportunities.

· Support decision-making by translating compliance requirements into clear and actionable business advice.

Governance and risk management

· Support governance and monitoring activities to assess adherence to company policies and standards.

· Identify areas of risk and partner with stakeholders to develop effective mitigation strategies.

· Drive a proactive risk-management culture across supported markets.

Compliance programme delivery

· Provide oversight and support across Healthcare Compliance, Privacy, Careful Communications and Records Management activities.

· Support implementation of global and regional compliance requirements within local markets.

· Act as a key contact for compliance-related projects, initiatives and business change programmes.

Continuous improvement

· Identify opportunities to simplify processes and enhance ways of working.

· Drive practical solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness and employee experience.

· Promote a modern, business-focused approach to compliance.

Leadership and team development

· Support and coach stakeholders to strengthen understanding of compliance responsibilities.

· Foster a strong culture of integrity and accountability across the business.

· Provide direct line management and development support to a Commercial Compliance Executive.

Skills and experience

· Significant experience in Compliance, Risk, Governance, Audit, Legal, Privacy or another relevant control function.

· Strong business-partnering and stakeholder-management capability.

· Experience influencing senior leaders and working in complex matrix organisations.

· Confidence operating in ambiguous situations and balancing risk with business objectives.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to challenge constructively.

Desirable experience

· Experience within healthcare, MedTech, pharmaceuticals, life sciences or another regulated industry.

· Exposure to healthcare compliance frameworks, industry codes or regulatory environments.

· People leadership or line-management experience.

· Experience leading projects or driving organisational change.
