An exciting opportunity for a creative Commercial Social Producer to plan and produce compelling content, delivering impactful storytelling and engagement for one of our key commercial partners.

The Role

We're looking for a Commercial Social Producer to join our Content & Media team on a fixed-term contract, with a particular focus on bringing to life our Clubs commercial partnership with Google. In this exciting role, you'll help to create, produce and publish engaging content across our owned and social media channels, authentically showcasing Google products, platforms and brand priorities while fulfilling key partnership rights.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take content from idea through to execution, creating platform-native social content that connects with supporters while bringing one of our key commercial partnerships to life in an authentic and creative way. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Content & Media and Commercial Partnerships to deliver content that reflects our values, tone of voice and strategic priorities. You'll play an important role in matchday coverage, campaigns, events and partner activations.

Fixed-term contract until 30th June 2027

Who We Are

We are one of the most famous clubs in world football, with a rich heritage and history of success – read more about our history, here.

Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

We are committed to ensuring that our environments for children, young people and adults at risk remain safe and inclusive. We therefore require successful candidates to complete a DBS check and other essential background checks prior to starting their employment. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, a DBS will be either a basic, standard, or enhanced check.

Your day-to-day

  • Create standout social content - you'll plan, capture, edit and publish engaging content across our social platforms that connects supporters with our club and authentically delivers against our Google partnership rights
  • Bring partnerships to life - you will proudly deliver high-quality content that fulfils key commercial partner rights while remaining authentic, creative and platform-native
  • Own content delivery - you'll coordinate the planning and execution of content streams, ensuring all deliverables are accurate, on brand and delivered on time
  • Support our matchday coverage - you will create exciting content around fixtures and events, helping supporters feel closer to the action and the people behind it
  • Drive creative storytelling - you'll proactively develop new ideas that connect football with wider culture, including fashion, lifestyle, sport, music and art
  • Use insight to inform decisions - you will leverage analytics and audience trends to optimise content performance and continuously improve engagement
  • Champion quality and consistency - you'll maintain our tone of voice, uphold excellent attention to detail and ensure partner branding requirements are met
  • Collaborate across our club - you will work closely with colleagues across Content & Media, Commercial Partnerships, Design and other teams to deliver impactful content experiences

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience producing social-first content - you can draw upon experience creating engaging digital content and using insights to shape creative and publishing decisions
  • Outstanding social media expertise - you're confident managing multiple social platforms and understand how to create content tailored to different audiences and channels
  • Excellent content creation skills - you possess advanced filming, editing and storytelling capabilities and are comfortable taking content from concept through to delivery
  • Commercial awareness - you're able to balance creative storytelling with commercial objectives and ideally have experience delivering partnership or sponsored content
  • Confident communicator - you're proud of your written and verbal communication skills and can create compelling copy that reflects our tone of voice
  • Data-driven mindset - you're well versed in using social media and analytics tools to identify trends, measure performance and act on insight
  • Creative and proactive approach - you constantly seek new ideas, stay connected to emerging trends and relish opportunities to innovate
