As a Commercial Support Specialist within Scyne's Group Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our commercial activities, directly contributing to the achievement of our organisational objectives and our public-purpose mission. This position provides essential administrative, operational, and commercial support to internal stakeholders and delivery teams, underpinning efficient project lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Serving as the primary point of contact for internal commercial enquiries, offering timely and accurate guidance.
Efficiently managing and resolving queries channelled through ServiceNow and the Commercial Inbox.
Delivering comprehensive commercial support across the project delivery lifecycle, from initial setup through to successful completion and closure.
Assisting internal stakeholders with critical financial administration, including job creation, ensuring timesheet submission compliance, managing invoicing processes, and accurately processing write-offs/ups and journal entries.
Upholding rigorous compliance with Scyne's policies, procedures, and contractual obligations in all commercial activities, safeguarding our operational integrity.
Candidates will ideally possess a blend of the following capabilities, demonstrating a commitment to excellence within a public-purpose environment:
Financial & Operational Acumen: A keen willingness to rapidly acquire knowledge of Scyne's internal finance and operational processes, ensuring seamless integration into our commercial support framework.
ERP/CRM Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar sophisticated systems.
Analytical Tools & Data Visualisation: Proven capability in utilising analytical tools, including advanced Excel functionalities, and experience with data visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI) to inform decision-making.
Organisational & Administrative Excellence: Exceptional administrative and organisational skills, with a meticulous approach to detail and accuracy, crucial for managing complex commercial activities.
Communication Mastery: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective engagement with diverse internal stakeholders.
Workload Management: A demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and consistently meet stringent deadlines in a dynamic operational setting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong proficiency in cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and achieving shared objectives.
