Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
- Driving commercial transformation: Lead the development and delivery of our commercial technology roadmap, replacing manual processes and fragmented spreadsheets with smarter, connected solutions.
- Owning our technology platforms: Take the lead on developing and optimising tools including Monday.com, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI), SharePoint and other commercial planning systems.
- Making technology work smarter: Partner with our Technology team to introduce automation, improve system integration and create scalable solutions that support range, pricing, promotional and commercial planning.
- Turning data into decisions: Develop integrated planning tools, dashboards and reporting that give teams greater visibility, improve decision-making and keep key programmes on track.
- Influencing and collaborating: Build strong relationships across Commercial, Supply Chain, Digital, QA and wider business teams, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
- Championing continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and introduce innovative ways of working that deliver measurable business benefits.
- Bringing people on the journey: Lead successful system rollouts, support testing and implementation, and develop training and guidance to ensure teams feel confident using new tools.
- Leading and developing others: Coach and support your team, creating a collaborative, high-performing environment where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with commercial understanding, excellent stakeholder management skills and a genuine passion for making things better.
You'll ideally bring:
- Proven experience developing, managing and improving business technology platforms, particularly Microsoft Power Platform, Monday.com and SharePoint.
- Strong knowledge of system integration, automation, APIs, SQL and integrated planning or ERP solutions.
- A successful track record of delivering technology-led transformation, turning complex or manual processes into efficient, connected solutions.
- The ability to translate technical challenges into practical business solutions and communicate their value to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong programme management, planning and organisational skills, with experience delivering change across multiple teams.
- An understanding of commercial planning, product lifecycles, sourcing and profitability, ideally gained within a retail or multichannel environment.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing others, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
Why this role?
This is more than a systems or programme management role. It's an opportunity to shape how our commercial business operates, influence strategic decisions and introduce technology that genuinely makes people's working lives easier.
