Commissioning Coordinator (Hybrid)

Job Title: Commissioning Coordinator Job Description The Facility Solutions Associate II (OFCI Manager) role is pivotal in managing processes and completing deliverables related to facility services and operations. This position involves advanced engagement with drawings, specifications, submittal reviews, MEL development, Pre-Functional Checklist development, and training coordination. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals with MEP or commissioning experience who enjoy both field exposure and structured, systems-driven coordination. Responsibilities Conduct and manage the commissioning process. Oversee Master Equipment List (MEL) management. Engage in systems start-up and commissioning of mission-critical projects. Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and documentation related to data centers. Facilitate the review and implementation of O&M manuals and training agendas. Schedule and manage training sessions and asset QR tagging. Essential Skills Experience in the commissioning process and systems start-up. Proficiency in managing a Master Equipment List (MEL). Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction, facilities management, or a related field. Six years of experience in MEPF coordination, commissioning, or systems start-up. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Awareness of ASHRE standards and codes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with equipment lists, O&M manuals, and training coordination. Familiarity with CMMS and asset management systems. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate with field teams, vendors, and clients. Valid driver’s license. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing candidates to work from any regional office, including Pleasanton, CA; Irvine, CA; Denver, CO; Tysons Corner, VA; Nashville, TN; Orlando, FL; Austin, TX, or Bellevue, WA. Expect to be on-site in Montgomery, AL, approximately 25% of the time. The position supports large-scale data center projects with a focus on low-voltage OFCI equipment scopes, blending remote coordination with project and team collaboration. The environment is fast-paced with tight deadlines and technical complexity, but it does not require heavy travel. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Montgomery, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
