Commodity Buyer ( M/F)

For our Client, an international manufacturing company operating in the automotive industry, we are looking for a Commodity Buyer to join the Purchasing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• managing purchasing processes for direct materials,
• cooperation with suppliers and internal departments,
• managing purchase orders and supplier documentation,
• monitoring prices, costs and commercial conditions,
• supporting negotiations with suppliers,
• monitoring supplier capacity and material availability,
• supporting cost reduction and optimization activities,
• cooperation with Quality, Logistics, Finance and Engineering teams,
• supporting supplier changes and resolving purchasing-related issues,
• handling and resolving day-to-day supplier and purchasing challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree,
• minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or working with suppliers,
• experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage,
• good command of English,
• good negotiation and communication skills,
• analytical thinking and good organizational skills,
• ability to work independently and make decisions,
• ability to work under time pressure,
• willingness to travel on business trips.
