Enzi Ijayo is seeking a creative and detail-oriented consultant to develop graphics and infographics that make its research, policy analysis, and programme work clear and engaging. The consultant will work with programme and communications colleagues to turn complex ideas and evidence into accessible visuals for publications, presentations, events, the website, and social media.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities.
Visual design and production:
- Design infographics, charts, diagrams, maps, social media graphics, presentation slides, and other visual materials as required.
- Translate research findings, policy messages, and data into visuals suited to different audiences, including policymakers, partners, funders, and the public.
- Adapt approved designs into the sizes and formats needed for print and digital channels.
Accuracy and Quality Control:
- Work with Enzi Ijayo’s team to confirm the purpose, audience, key message, and source material for each assignment.

- Maintain a high standard of proofreading, layout, readability, and visual consistency, including across multiple rounds of revisions.
Brand and Workflow Support:
- Apply Enzi Ijayo’s visual identity consistently and develop reusable templates where useful.
- Manage assigned design tasks against agreed briefs and deadlines, sharing drafts early enough for review.
- Deliver publication-ready outputs alongside organised, editable source files, including Canva, Adobe or equivalent as appropriate.
Website Updates and Maintenance:
- Update website content, graphics, and publication pages in coordination with the programme and communications teams.
- Ensure website visuals and layouts remain consistent with Enzi Ijayo’s brand and display clearly across desktop and mobile devices.
- Conduct routine checks for broken links, outdated content, and formatting issues, resolving these where possible and flagging technical issues for specialist support.
Expected Deliverables:
Specific deliverables, quantities, timelines, and fees will be agreed in each work plan or assignment brief. Outputs may include research infographics, data visualisations, report graphics, event materials, slide templates, and social media graphics. Each final deliverable should be supplied in the agreed publication format and as an editable source file.

- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when presenting data, statistics, and policy findings.
- Proficiency in Canva and relevant Adobe Creative Cloud tools, such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

- Fluency in English is required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree, professional training, or equivalent experience in graphic design, visual communication, data visualisation, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant professional design experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong infographic design, clear presentation of complex information, and consistent attention to detail.
