This post will ensure people have the opportunity to influence decisions that shape their places and how they live their lives. The Role In our small Team, as a Community Development Officer, you will play a key role in identifying local needs and delivering innovative projects that improve lives. You will work closely with individuals, groups, business and third sector partners to: • Develop and support community-led initiatives. • Empower individuals to build skills, confidence, and networks. • Creating a partnership approach to embed community priorities and foster collaboration. • Promote inclusion, engagement, and sustainability in all activities. What we are looking for Someone who: • Is enthusiastic and motivated to make a real difference. • Has a genuine passion for supporting people and communities. • Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills. • Can work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team. • Has experience and understanding of the value of community development and empowerment. • Understands the complexity and challenges of this type of role. The successful candidate will be required to undertake Level 1 Disclosure check. Job Description Additional Salary Information Stirling Information The Benefits 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service) Pro-rated for part time roles. Flexible working including hybrid office/work from home arrangements where the role allows . We have a good balance across our teams, retaining the benefits to work/life balance of working from home part of the week, with the collaborative and social benefits of working from the office 2-3 days per week Biennial incremental progression until top of your payscale is reached Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
