We're looking for a Community & Donor Support Associate!
What you'll be doing:
The Community and Donor Support Associate provides timely, accurate, and courteous service to BTPM's members, donors, and the broader community. This role responds to inquiries related to donations, programming, and general questions about the organization. Responsibilities include gift processing, data entry, and CRM database maintenance, as well as assisting with administrative aspects of on-air fundraising campaigns. This position can be hybrid - a blend of remote and in-office work. In summary, this individual will:
- Provide timely, thorough, and courteous service to BTPM members, donors, and community members by phone, email, and other forms of communication, addressing questions related to donations, programming, and the organization
- Actively stay informed about organizational updates, programming, and relevant industry trends to ensure accurate and current information is provided
- Process and reconcile daily gift transactions, ensuring accuracy of source documents and maintaining up to date donor information in designated platforms
- Execute scheduled database processes and distribute resulting files to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support on air pledge drives by loading break codes and gifts, preparing tally sheets, testing volunteer stations, monitoring incoming pledges, entering and verifying pledge data, and completing and distributing campaign results
- Assist members and donors with follow up questions related to their pledges and donations
- Maintain confidentiality when handling personal and donor information, including masking sensitive data as requested or appropriate
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or related coursework preferred
- Demonstrated experience in an office environment with administrative/clerical responsibilities; nonprofit setting a plus
- Demonstrated experience in customer service with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals using various methods of correspondence
- Good mathematics and analytical ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; friendly, helpful and supportive demeanor
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills with programs like Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), project management platforms (e.g. Asana), and customer relationship management (CRM) systems; Salesforce experience a plus
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary and Benefits:
This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position and hours of work are based on operational need, typically Monday through Friday. Starting pay will be based on education, experience and interview.
Starting range: $16 to $18.15/hr.
