- Coordinate community activations, promotional events and key Tournament milestone activities, ensuring all operational, logistical and stakeholder requirements are delivered successfully.
- Manage event administration, including travel arrangements, equipment logistics, asset tracking, venue applications, compliance requirements and budget reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, community organisations, sporting groups, schools, clubs, suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Assist with project management activities, including event planning, stakeholder communications, reporting, briefing and debriefing processes, and follow-up actions.
- Provide on-the-ground support at activations and events, representing the Tournament professionally while ensuring a high-quality participant and fan experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years’ experience in community engagement, event coordination, sport, major events or entertainment environments, with the ability to successfully deliver programs and activities to tight deadlines.
- Strong planning, organisational and administrative skills, with experience coordinating logistics, managing competing priorities and maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across schools, clubs, community groups, multicultural organisations, suppliers and internal teams.
- Experience supporting community, multicultural, school and/or participation programs, with an understanding of audience engagement and event delivery principles.
- Proficiency in managing operational processes, including reporting, budget administration, travel coordination, asset management and event compliance requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work evenings, weekends and travel domestically as required to support activations, events and key Rugby World Cup 2027 milestones.
