Purpose:
To ensure all necessary materials and supplies for community outreach events are available, organized, and event-ready to support the goals of the Spokane County Democrats.
Key Responsibilities:
Materials Management:
Maintain, organize, and replenish materials used at community events including banners, literature, merchandise, clipboards, pens, sign-up sheets, display stands, and more.
Event Prep & Recovery:
Prepare event supply kits tailored to each event’s needs. After each event, receive returned materials, clean, re-sort, restock, and reorganize for future use.
Inventory Tracking:
Implement and maintain a simple inventory system using QR codes, spreadsheets, or other tools to track supply levels and ensure timely restocking.
Communication & Coordination:
Work closely with the Booth Lead and Events Coordinator to understand the specific materials required for each event and ensure their availability.
Special Materials:
Identify and prepare special items or materials required for themed events, candidate appearances, or coalition efforts.
These qualities and skills will be helpful:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move supply boxes (up to ~25 lbs.).
Basic tech skills to use QR code systems or spreadsheets.
Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to Democratic values and local community engagement.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 2–5 hours per week, depending on event schedule. Flexible schedule, with occasional weekend or evening needs around major events.
Location:
Based out of party headquarters or designated storage location; may require transport of materials to/from event sites.
