Community & Marketing Manager – Full Time GAMURS Group are looking for an experienced Old School RuneScape (OSRS) player to become the ‘public face’ of Hefty OSRS, an app designed to reward and engage the OSRS community. This is much more than a social media posting role. You’ll take ownership of our community, help market and grow the app, support our users and build genuine relationships with OSRS players across Discord, Reddit, X and other relevant platforms. To succeed in this position, you must have strong, practical knowledge of OSRS. You should understand the game, its terminology, community culture, content creators, updates, memes and player expectations. We’re looking for someone who already feels at home in the OSRS community and knows how to communicate with players authentically. What You’ll Be Doing Act as the public face and voice of Hefty OSRS. Build, manage and grow our Discord community. Create and publish engaging content across Reddit, X and other relevant platforms. Participate genuinely in OSRS conversations rather than simply promoting the app. Develop and execute community marketing and user-growth initiatives. Plan promotions, competitions, giveaways, campaigns and community events. Introduce new players to the app and clearly communicate how it works. Respond to user questions, feedback and support enquiries. Identify common issues and work with the product team to improve the user experience. Gather community insights and report on player sentiment, requests and emerging trends. Monitor OSRS updates, conversations, creators and community developments. Build relationships with OSRS creators, community leaders and potential partners. Support app launches, new features and product announcements. Track community growth, engagement, campaign performance and user feedback. Help ensure that all community and marketing activity respects relevant platform and game rules. What We’re Looking For Strong, current knowledge of Old School RuneScape is essential. Genuine experience playing OSRS and a clear understanding of its community and culture. Experience managing an online community, ideally within gaming. Strong knowledge of Discord, Reddit and X. Experience in social media, digital marketing, community growth or customer engagement. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt your tone for different platforms. Confidence engaging publicly with players, including responding to questions and criticism. A creative, proactive approach to campaigns and community-building. Strong judgement and the ability to communicate authentically without sounding overly corporate. An understanding of community moderation and reputation management. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with product, marketing and customer-support teams. Nice to Have Existing involvement in OSRS Discord servers, subreddits or other player communities. Relationships with OSRS creators, streamers or community leaders. Experience launching or growing a gaming app, platform or digital product. Experience creating short-form video, graphics, memes or other community content. Knowledge of influencer, referral, affiliate or rewards-based marketing. Experience using analytics to measure community and marketing performance. About You You’re an OSRS player first and a community builder second. You understand what makes the community unique, what players respond to and what will immediately feel inauthentic. You’re equally comfortable creating a marketing campaign, answering a user’s question, moderating a Discord discussion, posting on Reddit and sharing player feedback with developers. You enjoy being visible, building trust and turning an audience into an active community. Role Details Position: OSRS Community & Marketing Manager Employment: Full time Location: Remote Salary: Reports to: Chief Technology Officer & Product Manager How to Apply Please send us your résumé and a short introduction covering: Your experience playing Old School RuneScape.
