Make an Impact in Your Community.Alignment Health is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Community Outreach Representative to serve as the face of our organization in the local community. In this role, you will build meaningful partnerships, educate community members about healthcare resources, and create opportunities that drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, representing a mission-driven organization, and making a difference through community engagement.
*Candidates must reside in Charlotte, NC.
What You'll Do:
- Generate qualified leads through community outreach, events, and relationship-building activities.
- Represent Alignment Health Plan at health fairs, community events, educational seminars, senior centers, faith-based organizations, and other local venues.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, healthcare providers, senior organizations, and referral partners.
- Educate prospective members on Alignment Health Plan's benefits, services, provider network, and available healthcare resources.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and compliance teams to support outreach efforts and community engagement initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and present at community events, member education sessions, and new member orientation programs.
- Maintain event calendars, track outreach activities, and provide regular reporting on lead-generation efforts.
- Conduct outreach to physician offices and community partners to promote Alignment Health Plan and support referral opportunities.
- Support special projects and additional community outreach initiatives as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in community outreach, grassroots marketing, or lead generation through in-person events.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences and represent Alignment professionally in the community.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.
- Ability to obtain a state health insurance license within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five (5) or more years of healthcare, community outreach, or healthcare marketing experience.
- Experience working in Medicare, Medi-Cal, or managed care environments.
Travel & Work Requirements
- Approximately 80% or more local travel within the assigned market.
- Occasional air travel as needed.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work evenings and extended hours to support community events and outreach activities.
- Remote work may be available with manager approval.

Pay Range: $49,486.00 - $74,228.00Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
