Position Summary:

The Compensation Analyst provides enterprise-wide support for compensation programs, operations, administration, and analytics. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable compensation data, supporting the effective administration and execution of compensation programs, and delivering insights that promote fair, competitive, and equitable pay practices aligned AdaptHealth’s compensation philosophy. In addition, the Compensation Analyst helps maintain compensation data integrity and supports the broader HR team in day-to-day compensation activities.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Program Support: Assist in maintaining salary ranges, job evaluation data, and incentive plan documentation under the direction of senior analysts.
  • Market Analysis: Help gather and organize data for market pricing studies and compensation surveys; assist with survey submissions and basic benchmarking.
  • Job Architecture & Evaluation: Support job description reviews and help maintain accurate records for job leveling and classifications.
  • Annual Compensation Cycles: Assist with administrative tasks during the annual merit and bonus cycle, including data entry, quality checks, and report preparation.
  • HR and Business Support: Respond to routine compensation questions from HR and business partners, escalating more complex issues to senior team members; help prepare basic reports and summaries.
  • Compliance Support: Help ensure compensation data and processes align with company policy, flagging potential compliance concerns to senior staff.

Competency, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of compensation concepts, market pricing, and job evaluation.

• High attention to detail, strong judgment, and discretion when working with confidential employee and company data

• Comfortable working with Excel and willingness to learn compensation systems and reporting tools.

• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the compensation function.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in compensation, HR, or related analytics work; internship experience considered.

• Exposure to market pricing tools (e.g., PayFactors, WTW, Mercer) a plus, but not required.

• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced or growing organization.
