Position Summary The Compliance Analyst, Servicing & Regulatory plays an important role in the organization by performing a variety of activities related to the Company's Compliance functions. This role is primarily responsible, under moderate supervision, for monitoring and implementing regulatory and investor requirements impacting mortgage origination and servicing operations, supporting consumer complaint and privacy compliance programs, conducting compliance analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve compliance-related processes and controls. The role partners with business units to provide regulatory guidance, assess operational impacts, support regulatory change implementation, and promote compliant business practices. The role also supports examinations, audits, and other compliance initiatives while serving as a resource. Compensation This role is a non-exempt position with a targeted salary range of $ 25/hr to $37/hr . Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location. Essential Functions Identify, analyze, and manage regulatory, investor, and industry changes that impact the Company's mortgage origination and servicing operations. Evaluate regulatory requirements to determine applicability, operational impact, implementation needs, and associated compliance risks. Coordinate with business units and third parties to support implementation and validation of regulatory and investor changes and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert for mortgage origination and servicing operations, providing guidance regarding regulatory requirements, operational impacts, and implementation considerations. Research, investigate, and respond to escalated consumer complaints, regulatory inquiries, and customer concerns in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company standards. Gather and coordinate documentation required for regulatory servicing obligations, including Qualified Written Requests, Notices of Error, Requests for Information, debt validation requests, and other regulatory response requirements. Support the Company's privacy compliance program, including consumer privacy rights requests and compliance with applicable privacy regulations. Support Compliance Department initiatives related to regulatory examinations, audits, monitoring activities, issue remediation efforts, and other compliance risk management functions. Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, workflows, controls, and reporting to enhance operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance. Participate in cross-functional projects related to regulatory implementation, compliance initiatives, and process improvements. Provide professional and knowledgeable compliance support to business units and make recommendations, when appropriate, to promote compliant and efficient business practices. Provide guidance and serve as an escalation resource for day-to-day questions and role related compliance matters. Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and supporting materials for senior management, examinations, audits, or other areas as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree in business, Finance, Legal Studies, Risk Management, Compliance, or related field to the position, preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the Associate's degree. Minimum three years of Mortgage industry experience required, including knowledge of origination and servicing operations. Minimum two years of experience in Compliance, regulatory, audit, risk management, quality control, or related experience preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations applicable to mortgage origination and servicing. Demonstrated knowledge of residential mortgage origination and servicing processes, controls, and compliance practices. Knowledge of consumer complaint management, exam management, privacy compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required. Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards Audio/Visual: Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media. Environmental: Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Travel: 5% or less Mental: Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow. This role requires effective adaptation to workplace stressors, including customer service complaints, security responsibilities, and competing priorities.
