The Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytically driven Compliance Analyst to join our AI & Data organization at BetMGM. In this role you will support the company's obligations across US state, Canada, and federal gaming regulations, helping ensure that our products, promotions, data practices, and operations remain fully compliant in every jurisdiction in which we operate. You will work cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Trading, Risk, and Operations teams to monitor regulatory developments, conduct compliance reviews, and maintain the documentation and reporting frameworks that underpin BetMGM's regulatory standing. The ideal candidate brings a strong compliance or regulatory background ideally from within a regulated gaming or iGaming environment, pairs it with solid analytical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth business where attention to detail and sound judgment are essential.

Responsibilities


  • Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable state and federal gaming regulations across all BetMGM jurisdictions
  • Conduct compliance reviews and audits of products, promotions, marketing materials, and data practices to identify and mitigate regulatory risk
  • Track regulatory changes across US jurisdictions, assess business impact, and communicate timely updates to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings, reports, and license renewal documentation accurately and on schedule
  • Collaborate with Legal, Product, Trading, and Operations teams to provide compliance guidance on new product launches, feature changes, and promotional campaigns
  • Support internal investigations and incident response processes, including root-cause analysis and remediation planning
  • Maintain and continuously improve compliance documentation, policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Leverage data and analytics tools to build compliance monitoring dashboards and automate regulatory reporting workflows
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, effectively prioritizing competing compliance demands and aligning cross-functional efforts to ensure timely resolution of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications


  • 2–4 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management; experience within a regulated gaming or iGaming environment strongly preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of US state gaming regulations and licensing requirements
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory text and translate it into clear business guidance
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and Snowflake functionality
  • Experience with compliance management systems, GRC tools, or regulatory tracking platforms is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise compliance reports and policy documents
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Interest in regulated sports betting or iGaming is highly encouraged, previous experience is highly preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $72,320 to $94,920. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. At this time, this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship including H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, OPT, etc.


Compensation


The pay range for this position is as follows:


72,300.00--96,400.00

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support BetMGM's responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.
