We’ve partnered with a regulated financial services firm that is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support the Head of Compliance in a delegated capacity. This role will lead day-to-day operation of the compliance and financial crime framework, with a strong focus on governance, monitoring, and regulatory engagement in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the firm’s compliance governance framework, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and monitoring programmes.
• Prepare board and senior management compliance reporting, covering regulatory developments and key risk metrics.
• Lead execution of the annual compliance plan and second line assurance testing.
• Support AML/CFT oversight, including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, and periodic risk assessments.
• Maintain oversight of safeguarding obligations and related controls and escalation processes.
• Provide compliance input on outsourcing arrangements and third-party service providers.
• Collaborate closely with Technology, Operations, Legal, and Product teams to embed regulatory requirements in processes and systems.

Key Skills

• Strong experience in a senior compliance role within a regulated financial services environment.
• Deep knowledge of relevant Irish and EU regulatory requirements, including AML/CFT and conduct standards.
• Proven ability to design and operate proportionate, practical compliance and monitoring frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and credibility when engaging with senior management and regulators.
