Compliance Officer (AU, Healthcare and Community Services) Hybrid

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our offshore team supporting client its group entities. In this role, you will oversee regulatory alignment, document control, quality assurance, and clinical risk mitigation across our Australian In-Home Aged Care and NDIS operations. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams, nurses, and executive leadership, you will ensure our service delivery adheres strictly to Australian healthcare legislation, quality frameworks, and audit standards.

Skills Required

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN), Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Experience: Proven track record in compliance management, quality assurance, or clinical audit within Australian Aged Care, NDIS, or long-term care environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience managing document architecture within cloud tools (e.g., SharePoint, Employment Hero).
• Clearances & Compliance: Must hold or be willing to obtain an active National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months), Working with Children Check (WWCC), and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Competencies: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, strong critical thinking, and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential healthcare data with integrity.
  
  

What will you do?

• Regulatory Compliance & Master Document Control:
• Maintain master document control across SharePoint and HR systems, establishing standardized compliance workflows for all operational units.
• Audit participant high-care plans (HELP plans), care logs, and checkout notes weekly to verify that complex care and palliative support align with Australian regulations.
• Monitor changes to Australian healthcare legislation, including the Aged Care Act 1997, Aged Care Quality Standards, and the NDIS Practice Standards / 2013 NDIS Act.
• Quality Improvement & Risk Mitigation:
• Analyze quality data, incident trends, and feedback to drive continuous improvement frameworks across care teams.
• Conduct internal compliance reviews, gap analyses, and corrective action planning to ensure audit readiness.
• Support incident investigations, serious incident response scheme (SIRS) protocols, and mandatory reporting requirements.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Clinical Support:
• Support clinical teams and Allied Health staff with participant assessments, care plan reviews, and documentation governance.
• Serve as a internal subject matter expert on quality assurance, guiding care coordinators and field staff on compliance standards.
• Prepare routine compliance status reports, risk indicators, and audit summaries for senior governance leaders
