- Hybrid model of work: 3 days remote, 2 days on site
ROLE:
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that the company meets all statutory and regulatory requirements, actively contributing to the maintenance of the company’s licenses across multiple jurisdictions. Your responsibilities will include drafting policies & procedures, managing due diligence processes and providing day-to-day guidance and four-eyes reviews for the team. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive, collaborative mindset are key to success.
THE PERFECT TEAM MEMBER IS INSPIRED TO:
- Conduct regulatory research and monitor relevant legal and compliance developments across applicable jurisdictions to maintain strong, up-to-date knowledge of legislations and industry best practices.
- Hold primary responsibility for the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and regulatory reporting requirements of company licenses.
- Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing due diligence processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
- Assist key function certificate and personal license holders with applications, renewals, ongoing compliance obligations, and CPD requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for Compliance Executives, supporting their training, onboarding and day-to-day operational guidance.
- Review selected tasks completed by Compliance Executives in line with the four-eyes principle and internal control requirements.
- Support and collaborate with the Senior Compliance Officer and Manager on new license/registrations applications, renewals, and internal-external audits.
- Draft, maintain, and update internal policies, procedures, guidelines, and compliance documentation.
- Work closely with involved parties and departments (such as Legal, Account Management and Sales) to ensure compliance across business operations and alignment with company policies.
- Support the team in providing compliance advice regarding existing and emerging regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with regulators on behalf of the company as required, and maintain strong professional relationships with advisors, auditors, and consultants on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Perform other compliance related tasks in accordance with company’s procedures.
THE SKILLS THAT WILL GRAB OUR ATTENTION:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry.
- Proven experience working within regulated iGaming jurisdictions; experience with handling B2B compliance for the MGA/AGCO is a plus.
- Strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CFT (Counter Financing of Terrorism) regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in legal and business English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- A university degree or equivalent qualification in a related field is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and eager-to-learn mindset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
