As a Compliance Principal, you will collaborate with registered representatives and internal teams to navigate regulatory requirements, monitor business activities, and support critical compliance programs. From reviewing communications and trade practices to improving surveillance processes and systems, you will help protect the firm while enabling responsible business growth. Responsibilities: Review registered representatives’ communication including, text message, email, Microsoft Teams chats and Copilot prompts. Identify and report significant compliance exposures and provide recommendations on corrective actions. Review registered representatives’ and investment adviser representatives’ trade practices, including discretionary trading models as part of the RIA’s advisor managed platform. Provide assistance and guidance to registered representatives regarding compliance issues, firm policies and procedures, and industry regulations. Develop, implement and update policies and procedures regarding the firm’s surveillance program. Assist in the review and monitoring of registered representatives’ outside business activities. Compile documentation, file appropriate paperwork and maintain records; update records, files or databases as needed. Provide support across compliance and other department teams including investigation, examination and operations. Participate in business level task forces/projects. Provide support in the modification and maintenance of compliance systems, including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Purview, and the firm’s trading surveillance system. What we need: Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years experience with investment products, back office systems preferred. Ability to pass FINRA Series SIE and 7 within six months of hire, and series 24 and 66 within one year of hire. We provide time to study during work hours to help you achieve this goal. Work towards FLMI designation. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Co-Pilot. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work across all U.S. jurisdictions. Clean securities background. What we offer: Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $30.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid, hourly position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least four days in office each week. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be expected to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period, which may be up to one year.
