Compliance Specialist | Galway | Hybrid

Hibernian Recruitment is partnering with a well-established financial services business to appoint an experienced Compliance Specialist.

Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will help strengthen the organisation’s compliance framework across areas including:

• Outsourcing oversight and assurance testing
• AML and CFT
• Complaints management
• Fitness and Probity and MCC
• CPC, CCMA and SME Regulations
• Compliance monitoring and regulatory audits
• Central Bank of Ireland guidance and engagement
• Oversight of third-party service providers

You will review customer and loan documentation, support operational teams with compliance queries, contribute to Board reporting and help ensure policies and controls remain aligned with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least three years’ relevant experience in banking or financial services
• LCI Qualification desirable
• Broad knowledge of financial services regulation
• Experience reviewing facility and security documentation
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.
