The role of Component Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic. Responsibilities: Ensure component readiness and quality throughout the project lifecycle Perform parts quality checks and validation activities to ensure compliance with specifications Manage component-related activities after the development phase Support supplier communication and follow up on technical and quality issues Participate in problem-solving activities and implementation of corrective actions Requirements: Secondary School or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience in mechanical engineering or component engineering (junior profiles considered) Basic knowledge of plastic components / injection technology is an advantage Understanding of component validation and quality checks Experience working with suppliers or cross-functional teams is a plus English at intermediate level (B2) German or French is an advantage Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Driving license B We offer: Performance bonuses 5 weeks of vacation Flexible working hours Possibility to work from home Cafeteria system (benefit program) Company events Transport allowance Contribution to pension / life insurance Training and development courses Subsidized meals in company cantee At OPmobility, people truly matter.
