Computational Structural Biologist
Cubiq Recruitmentπ¨ New role - Computational Structural Biologist π§¬
I'm working with an early-stage London BioAI company building AI-driven molecular design for agriculture, using targeted protein degradation (molecular glues) to develop next-generation herbicides.
𧬠Protein structure & AlphaFold data at serious scale
π± Plant-focused molecular design
π Early team, genuine ownership
π This isn't an "open ChimeraX and hit repair" role. You'll be building automated pipelines to process protein structure data (PDB + AlphaFold) across potentially millions of protein chains. Production-grade, code-first workflows, not manual, one-by-one review.
This is for people who want:
β To build pipelines
β Real ownership of a protein-data function from day one
β To work alongside experienced biologists, chemists, and an AI/engineering team
β Equity as a genuine part of the offer
β An early-stage team
A few useful details:
π Remote, UK - with hybrid option in near future
π° Compensation flexible, banded by experience + equity
π§ Must-haves: hands-on coding, has built and maintained data pipelines, enough structural biology judgement to know when a protein structure needs fixing
π€ Ideal: PDB, AlphaFold, protein design/engineering, peptide design, or AI drug discovery experience
If that sounds like you, drop me a message with your CV!
