Computer Vision Guru (Remote, 50-100%)

We're seeking a talented Computer Vision Guru to join our team remotely. This position is ideal for ambitious students at one of the leading universities in Bogotá looking to gain hands-on experience while continuing their studies (50% workload) or experienced engineers (up to 100% workload).

We are looking for a talented engineer who brings both technical depth and a hands-on mentality to strengthen our expertise in computer vision.

Your Responsibility

You will work on some of the hardest problems in computer vision, where precision and reliability matter more than flashy demos. Our projects often deal with minimal visual cues and require innovative approaches to push the limits of OpenCV in production systems. With us, you will not be a small cog in a large machine, but an essential part of shaping solutions that directly reach enterprise and regulated environments.

• Develop and improve computer vision algorithms for automated software testing
• Work with image recognition, object detection, and similarity matching
• Train and evaluate machine learning models using real-world data
• Contribute to the research and implementation of novel Computer Vision techniques
• Ensure robustness, scalability, and performance of AI modules

Your Profil

• Deep knowledge of OpenCV with practical experience in C#/.NET (preferred) and C++

• Strong background in computer vision, including layout analysis, object detection, and pattern recognition with extremely narrow feature sets

• Solid software engineering skills, including clean coding, debugging, performance optimization, and Git version control

• Proven ability to solve tough technical challenges where standard algorithms are not enough and creative problem-solving is required

• Experience in integrating vision algorithms into real-world applications, ideally in regulated or enterprise environments

• Independent, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a small team and contribute to collaborative problem-solving

• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus, and readiness to interact directly with customers when required
