Your New Role… TNT Sports has a fantastic opportunity to work with US Soccer to experience, learn, and contribute to the world of soccer and sports media as the Conectando Campeones Fellow . The Conectando Campeones Fellow will attend a U.S. Soccer match and get a behind-the-scenes look at the many different disciplines that come together to cover, produce, and tell the story of a major soccer event. This is an opportunity to get involved and make the experience your own . Depending on their interests, skills, and initiative, the Fellow may shadow on-air talent, work alongside reporters and producers, contribute to social and digital content, participate in strategy sessions, assist with production, conduct interviews, develop story ideas, or even take on-camera opportunities. The ideal candidate is a motivated, curious and proactive college junior or senior student or entry-level professional who is bilingual (English and Spanish) , passionate about U.S. and international soccer, both men's and women's , and aspires to build a career in sports, media, reporting, content, broadcasting, or strategy. The Fellow should come prepared not only to learn, but to identify opportunities and contribute . Whether that means pitching a story, asking to shadow a reporter, developing a social idea, volunteering to assist with production, or stepping in front of the camera, we are looking for someone who is willing to take initiative and make the most of the experience. This rewarding opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience, exposure to professionals across the sports and media industries, and an opportunity to build relationships and strengthen the selected Fellow's professional portfolio as they move forward in their career. Your Role Responsibilities… Responsibilities and opportunities may include: Shadowing and learning from on-air talent, reporters, producers, editors, strategists and other members of the TNT Sports team. Assisting with coverage of a U.S. Soccer match , including brainstorming, story development, content pitching, reporting, interviewing, content creation, and more. Contributing to social and digital coverage , including identifying stories, creating and packaging content, and developing ideas for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Exploring on-camera opportunities , including reporting, conducting interviews, contributing to digital segments, or assisting with other talent-driven content. Participating in production , gaining exposure to the planning and execution of a live sports broadcast and the many teams that bring an event to fans. Contributing to strategy and brainstorming , bringing ideas and perspectives around soccer, sports culture, audiences and how fans consume content. Proactively identifying opportunities to contribute based on the Fellow's individual interests, skills and career goals. Building relationships with professionals across soccer, sports media, content, production, talent and strategy. Traveling as needed for the U.S. Soccer match and related fellowship activities. Working flexible hours, including potential evenings and weekends, based on match schedules, production needs and other event-related activities. Qualifications and Experience… Must be passionate and highly knowledgeable about soccer , with an understanding of both U.S. and international soccer, men's and women's . College junior or senior or early-career level. Strong interest in sports media, reporting, broadcasting, content creation, production, social media or sports strategy . Must be curious, proactive and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Strong editorial judgment, communication skills and attention to detail are crucial. Confident interacting with athletes, coaches, talent, reporters, producers and other professionals. Comfortable working both behind the scenes and, when appropriate, in front of the camera . Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital storytelling and the way modern sports fans consume content. Experience with content creation, reporting, social media, video, production or other relevant media experience is preferred. Must speak and write fluently in English and Spanish . Understanding of soccer culture in the U.S. and internationally, including the growing influence and importance of both men's and women's soccer. Ability to work in a fast-paced, live-event environment and adapt as opportunities arise. Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the U.S. Soccer event schedule. The Conectando Campeones Fellowship is designed for someone who is hungry to learn, willing to contribute, and excited to explore the many career paths available in soccer and sports media. Please Note This is a temporary fellowship opportunity expected to run for approximately 45 days . Specific responsibilities, schedules and opportunities will vary based on the Fellow's interests, experience, and the needs of the U.S. Soccer event. Travel is required as part of the fellowship, and the role may include evening and weekend work based on match schedules, production needs and other event-related activities.
