Configuration/ Deployment Specialist (m/f/n)

Currently, for one of our Partners, we are looking for an experienced Configuration/ Deployment Specialist to support a long‑term project delivered for a European Union organization based in Warsaw.

Offer

• B2B contract (via Shimi)
• Rate 300-325 EUR/MD nett+VAT
• Remote (the Consultant may be required to travel for regular or ad hoc presence at Contracting Authority’s premises or other designated location for up to 12 man-days per quarter - office in Warsaw)
• Long-term project with potential extensions up to 48 months
• Planned Start Date: 25.11.2026 / The latest start date: Within max. 3 months from the day that acceptance of the proposal has been sent to contracto

Specific requirements

• Minimum IT-relevant professional experience: 8 years (after graduation)
• Minimum experience at similar position: 3 years
• Minimum level of education: Bachelor's degree - ICT relevant degree is mandatory
• Language: English at B2 level or higher (B2 language certificate or a successful language audit resulting in certification is required)
• Experience with CI/CD management of mission critical complex enterprise systems.
• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications hosted on Microsoft IIS.
• Deep understanding of IIS configuration, application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates and authentication mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security concepts.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET applications.
• Mandatory knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Strong experience with Git-based workflows.
• Ability to automate: Application deployments, Environment configuration updates

Knowledge and skills

• Excellent knowledge of software deployment management
• Good knowledge of software release management
• knowledge of RUP and/or AGILE methodologies
• knowledge of application servers
• knowledge of building and deployment tools (e.g., Ant, Azure Pipelines)
• knowledge of development tools
• knowledge of RDBMS
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, Excellent communicator
• Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment

Typical tasks and responsibilities

• Support ICT team in application build, integration and deployment – both backend and client devices (mobile, PC)
• Support ICT team in system environment management and configuration
• Support project team in system tests
• Monitor and analyse functioning of system on daily basis
• Monitor system performance and health
• Report and coordinate technical issues related to system environments
• Coordinate and communicate with system vendor/contractor regarding all technical issues
• Providing support to ICT staff and project teams in deployment of development environment in Azure
