Constituent (VoteBuilder) Data Volunteer

This is a volunteer position and any amount of time is appreciated.

Overview:

The VoteBuilder Volunteer supports the campaign’s voter outreach and data integrity efforts by managing, entering, and analyzing voter data in the VoteBuilder system (also known as VAN – Voter Activation Network). This volunteer plays a key role in ensuring accurate, up-to-date records to drive effective voter contact, canvassing, phone banking, and GOTV (Get Out The Vote) efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and update canvassing and phone banking data into VoteBuilder.

• Assist in creating and managing lists for volunteer outreach, events, canvassing, and calls.

• Tag and code voters based on responses and contact results.

• Help maintain data quality by deduplicating and correcting voter records.

• Support field staff and volunteers by pulling walk/call lists and helping troubleshoot basic VoteBuilder issues.

• Generate reports on voter contact metrics as needed.

These qualities and skills will be helpful:

• Familiarity with VoteBuilder or VAN (training available).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Basic computer skills; comfortable using web-based software.

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

• A commitment to the campaign’s mission and goals.

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
