Construction Specialist

Role Description The Construction Specialist will support the development of educational content related to construction, architecture, and engineering workflows, ensuring alignment with CAD and related software tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating construction-related examples, assisting with the design of instructional materials, and providing input on best practices for project planning and site workflows. The role involves collaborating remotely with content creators to ensure technical accuracy, preparing basic documentation, and using productivity tools to maintain project records and budgets. This is a part-time remote role, offering flexible hours while requiring consistency in meeting content development timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Construction and Inspection for reviewing plans, examples, and practical workflows.
• Candidates should possess Architecture-related knowledge to interpret drawings, models, and design concepts used in training content.
• Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to support simple project cost estimates and resource planning within educational examples.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and presentation support.
• Experience or familiarity with CAD tools (such as SOLIDWORKS or similar software) and an interest in technical education are beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment are required.
• A background in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
