Beacon Strategies is an impact-focused health and social services consultancy.

About the role

We're open to appointing either a Consultant or Senior Consultant depending on experience, capability and the value you can bring to our team.

You'll be a core member of project teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality consulting work that creates impact for clients and communities.

As your experience grows, you'll take increasing ownership of project activities, client engagement and delivery responsibilities.

While no two weeks look exactly the same, your work may involve:

• Conducting research, analysis and synthesis
• Planning and facilitating workshops, interviews and client engagement activities
• Developing reports, plans, evaluations and strategic recommendations
• Coordinating project activities and supporting on-time, on-budget delivery
• Preparing presentations and communicating insights clearly and effectively
• Building strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Contributing to proposals, project approaches and new opportunities
• Participating in team planning, WIPs and internal coordination activities.

What we're looking for

We'd love to hear from people with experience in consulting, strategy, planning, policy, service design, evaluation, research or related fields.

You'll likely bring:

• Experience in health, social services, government, consulting or adjacent sectors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders and facilitating discussions
• The ability to manage your work effectively and contribute to team outcomes
• Curiosity, initiative and a commitment to continuous learning
• A collaborative and values-aligned approach to working with others.
