About Us CaymanHR provide outsourced HR, training and coaching services to businesses in Cayman for whom having a full time HR Manager isn’t viable. Role Structure This is a consultant role and whilst typically we operate an 8.30am-5.00pm working schedule, hours will vary based on the needs of Clients at any given time. Reporting Structure The Consultant will report directly to the Director Remuneration The compensation will be structured as a minimum monthly base of CI$2,000 plus 50% commission of revenue generated over a cost based threshold. Benefits 20 days vacation plus standard paid sick and compassionate leave per law. Up to CI$300 towards employee only health insurance costs, plus contribution towards gas, connectivity and HR membership costs. Summary The Consultant is responsible for assisting the Director with a variety of tasks associated with the provision of services to clients in Cayman. They will help our clients reform their operations and support their business by providing intuitive guidance. The Consultant will be an important ally to every organization who wants to invest in change and improvement and needs help as to where and how. The Consultant will also undertake projects on behalf of the client’s business when it lacks resources or motive to perform them in-house. The role will include consulting with Clients, either remotely or on site, on topics designed to help them free up their time to do what they do best, save them money whilst getting the expertise of someone they won’t have to train or provide with benefits and reduce the chance of legal issues or penalties for non-compliance with local laws. Main Duties & Responsibilities The functions of this role will include but not be limited to the following duties & responsibilities: For Clients: Supports / engages in relationship building with employees and clients Works closely with clients to understand their needs and develop proactive strategies to meet business goals Conducts research to understand how client company functions and where a company can improve. Meets with all necessary groups, such as employees, management, and shareholders to aid in consultancy Development and delivery of training workshops to clients and their staff on best practice Develops, reviews and applies policies and procedures, prepares reports, proposals, and presentations Stays current with latest trends in business and applies them to existing business models Ensures all documentation, policies & procedures are aligned with Cayman laws Prepares recommendations on organisational improvement Recommendation and implementation of appropriate software to support business goals Provision of project management (including sales, implementation and ongoing maintenance support) for CaymanHR developed and supported software Supports any aspects of onboarding, offboarding, employee records management and performance management as may be required by a client Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of files through performing audits of existing records, policies & procedures, ensuring completion and accuracy throughout Travels to different job locations as required. For CaymanHR: Provides training and mentoring to team members – ensuring our less experienced team members receive thorough technical and soft skills support to enable them to progress and be promoted into client facing positions Assists with tasks such as data entry or verification for project management contracts Supports development of materials (powerpoint presentations, proposals, surveys) as needed Provides secretarial & office administration support to the Director as needed Assist with tracking time and client billing Conducts research and writes blogs and a ssists with social media Runs errands and p erforms other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Required Bachelors degree in Maths, English or equivalent CISHRP plus SHRM/CIPD qualification preferred Understanding of complex organizational people related challenges and a minimum of 3 years experience devising and implementing solutions Thorough understanding of compensation structures and payroll management Prior relevant experience in a consulting or advisory position or in people related leadership role Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience delivering training to clients an asset Understanding of Laws relevant to conducting business in Cayman (Trade & Business, Caymanian Protection, Labour etc) an asset Knowledge of Quickbooks
