Job Description & Summary
Enterprise Managed Services (EMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region.
We're looking for:
Consultant
Your future role:
- Work as part of project teams reviewing and improving finance processes, operating models and organisational effectiveness,
- Gather and analyse business requirements, process information and operational data through interviews, workshops and document reviews,
- Prepare process maps, gap analyses, business requirements, project plans, status reports, presentations and other client deliverables,
- Support the design and implementation of practical solutions across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A and broader finance operations,
- Participate in process assessments, workshops, testing, transition, implementation and post-implementation stabilisation activities,
- Coordinate assigned project activities, track actions, risks, issues, dependencies and milestones, and escalate concerns in a timely manner,
- Collaborate closely with client teams, subject matter experts, technology specialists and other PwC teams to deliver agreed project outcomes,
- Support data analysis, benchmarking and the identification of opportunities for process standardisation, optimisation, automation and stronger controls,
- Contribute to the preparation of clear recommendations and implementation roadmaps based on project findings,
- Maintain high-quality project documentation and ensure that deliverables are accurate, consistent and completed on time,
- Support business development activities by preparing client materials, conducting research and contributing delivery insights to proposals and client presentations,
- Help identify potential follow-on opportunities during project delivery by understanding client challenges and sharing observations with senior team members,
- Contribute to the growth of EMS Consulting by supporting recruitment, onboarding and knowledge-sharing activities,
- Support junior colleagues and new joiners through day-to-day guidance, feedback and sharing practical project experience,
- Participate in internal initiatives that strengthen the team’s methods, assets, capabilities and market visibility,
- Provide targeted support to proposals or RFI/RFP responses when required, primarily through research, data gathering and preparation of delivery content.
Apply if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, shared services, business consulting, project delivery or a related field,
- Practical knowledge of at least one finance process area, such as Record-to-Report, Consolidation or FP&A,
- Experience contributing to projects involving finance transformation, process improvement, system implementation, transition, SSC/GBS development or operational change,
- Ability to analyse processes and data, identify issues and translate findings into clear conclusions and practical recommendations,
- Experience preparing process documentation, business requirements, presentations, reports or project status materials,
- Good project coordination skills, including the ability to manage assigned tasks, priorities, deadlines and dependencies,
- Confidence in working with client stakeholders and collaborating within multidisciplinary and international teams,
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities,
- Clear written and verbal communication skills,
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with process-mapping, data-visualisation or project-management tools is an advantage,
- Professional proficiency in English,
- Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting client development and sales activities,
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team growth, knowledge sharing and the development of junior colleagues,
- Interest in using new technologies and AI-based tools to support analysis, automate tasks and improve the quality and efficiency of project delivery.
Nice to have:
- Experience gained within a consulting firm, SSC, GBS, BPO or finance transformation environment,
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics,
- Experience with process mapping, user acceptance testing, transition support, PMO activities or change management,
- Familiarity with automation, process mining, workflow or data-visualisation solutions,
- Relevant education or professional qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, business, technology or project management.
