ICG South Africa, the network’s newest hub, opened in Cape Town in 2026 and is led by Greg Zuccarini, South Africa Hub Lead. The hub serves South Africa, with reach into the wider African market through the network.
The hub is building its register of professionals on the platform who are based in Africa, or who would work on an engagement in Africa, so that briefs from South African and African clients reach the right people first.
Role
This is not a role. It is a register of interest, run as a BAF so that it reaches every professional on the platform in the usual way.
Two questions:
1. Are you based in Africa?
2. Would you work on an engagement in Africa?
If the answer to either is yes, apply.
KEY DELIVERABLE
Your application, with six things in the message field:
1. Where you are based: country and city.
2. Whether you would work in Africa, from where, and on-site or remote.
3. Your practice areas, in ICG taxonomy terms.
4. Your seniority: partner-level, principal, or senior.
5. Your availability over the next six months.
6. Any current client relationships in Africa you hold: the organisation, not the person.
What you get: a place on the South Africa hub’s register, and sight of South African and African briefs as they post. No commitment either way.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:
- Essential: Based in Africa, or willing to work on an engagement in Africa.
Preferred:
- Partner-level operators, boutique owners and independent principals with standing in a discipline.
- Experience of working with African clients or African operations, in any sector.
Not required: to be based in South Africa, or to be an ICG professional today. This register is for the continent.
Logistics
Start Date: None. This is a register, not an engagement.
Duration: Standing. The register stays open after the close date; late applications are welcome.
Location: Wherever you are.
Working Arrangements: Not applicable.
Rate: Not applicable. Nothing is charged and nothing is paid for being on the register.
