About BIP Group

Founded in 2003, BIP is an international consulting firm with more than 7,000 professionals worldwide. We help organisations navigate complex business challenges through transformation, technology, innovation and strategic advisory services.

Our people bring together different skills, perspectives and expertise to deliver practical solutions and lasting value for clients. We are committed to high standards of delivery and ethical conduct, and to creating an inclusive environment where people can develop, contribute and make a meaningful impact.

About the Global Commercial Team

BIP’s Global Commercial Team supports the Group’s international growth by bringing together commercial insight, market intelligence and coordinated business development. The team works across countries, practices and sectors to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships and support consistent, high-quality commercial activity.

About the role

We are looking for an energetic and curious Consultant to join BIP Group’s Global Commercial Team, based in the UK. This is an early-career opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with initiative, creativity and a genuine commitment to high-quality work.

You will support a varied portfolio of global commercial activities, working with senior stakeholders and colleagues across BIP’s international network. The role will involve market and client research, commercial analysis, opportunity coordination, preparation of high-quality materials and improvement of day-to-day workflows, including the practical use of AI and automation. You will be expected to take ownership, communicate clearly and contribute ideas from the outset.

Key responsibilities

Commercial research and analysis

  • Conduct structured research into clients, markets, sectors and competitors to support commercial priorities and decision-making.
  • Gather, organise and interpret qualitative and quantitative information, drawing out clear findings, trends and practical recommendations.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, briefing papers, opportunity summaries and other leadership or client-ready materials.
  • Support commercial planning and performance reporting by maintaining accurate information and turning data into useful insight.

Global commercial coordination

  • Coordinate commercial workstreams, priorities and deadlines across countries and practices, helping colleagues maintain momentum and visibility.
  • Work effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues from different countries, cultures and professional backgrounds.
  • Support opportunity development through research, qualification, proposal coordination, pitch preparation and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain clear commercial trackers, meeting outputs, decisions and actions, following through with stakeholders to keep activity moving.
  • Take ownership of assigned activities, raise issues early and identify practical ways to improve the quality and efficiency of delivery.

AI-enabled ways of working

  • Apply AI and digital tools responsibly to improve research, analysis, knowledge management and routine workflows.
  • Help identify repeatable tasks that could be simplified or automated, testing practical solutions with appropriate oversight.
  • Share learning and contribute to the development of effective, responsible ways of using AI across the team.

About you

You will be proactive, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-moving, international commercial environment. You will bring intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic and the confidence to ask questions, challenge constructively and turn ideas into action.

Essential skills and experience

  • Full professional proficiency in English and fluency in at least one additional language.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create structure from ambiguous information.
  • A proactive and creative approach, supported by a strong work ethic, sound judgement and personal accountability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce accurate and well-structured work.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work with senior colleagues and stakeholders across countries and cultures.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification, experience or capability. Applications are welcomed from recent graduates and early-career professionals.

Preferred experience and qualifications

  • Fluency in more than two languages; Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, French or Arabic would be particularly useful for current international work.
  • A degree in management, finance, business, international relations or another relevant discipline; we welcome candidates from all academic backgrounds.
  • Evidence of leadership, initiative or wider involvement, such as public speaking, student societies, volunteering, sport or community activity.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve university, work or personal workflows, with an understanding of responsible use and quality control.
  • Previous work experience or an internship in consulting, professional services, commercial strategy, business development or another client-focused environment.

What success looks like

Success in this role means becoming a trusted and dependable member of BIP’s Global Commercial Team: producing high-quality work, taking ownership of activities, learning quickly and improving how work gets done. You will build strong relationships across BIP’s international network, contribute useful ideas and develop the commercial and consulting skills needed to take on increasing responsibility across global initiatives.

Our commitment to inclusion

BIP is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can contribute and develop. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and will provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process where required.
