Consultant, Sales and Service (National Sales Center – USA Hockey)

CONSULTANT, SALES AND SERVICE (NATIONAL SALES CENTER – USA HOCKEY) (Hybrid/Remote) THE RUNDOWN Playfly Sports is looking for a Consultant, Sales and Service to join our team with USA Hockey selling the U18 Men’s World Championships. The Consultant, Sales & Service role should be passionate about and committed to preserving a culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees. This role would be a fit for those with a desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics. Sales Consultant’s revenue will be generated primarily from outbound phone calls. These calls will be supplemented with email marketing, face-to-face presentations and in-arena/stadium tours, if applicable. Day-to-day leadership and mentoring of this position will be provided by Playfly Aspire Leadership. Sales Consultants will receive the tools, programs, and systems necessary to "BE GREAT." WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH ● Meet or exceed sales goals while exceeding client expectations and providing superior customer service ● Increase sales portfolio and attract new business leads ● Sell sports/entertainment tickets to clients on behalf of Client Partners & Playfly Aspire ● Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the ticketing database ● Provide superior customer service to existing and potential clientele ● Accountable for certain levels of outbound sales activity (executed/scheduled) and daily goals as directed by manager ● Other job-related duties as assigned WHAT YOU’LL BRING ● Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required ● Ticket sales experience is preferred, but not required ● Knowledge of USA Hockey and the U18 Men’s Championships is strongly preferred but not required. ● Previous customer service or retail sales experience a plus; display a genuine desire to help people ● Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented ● Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills ● Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative ● Ability to encourage collaboration, flexibility, equity and inclusion that enables colleagues to contribute to their full potential, feel valued, and supported TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ● Availability to work outside typical office hours including nights and weekends as requested ● The work is sedentary in nature ● Walking, standing, bending and carrying of light office items may be required ● The work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office environment ● May require occasional travel, less than 5% WHAT WE DO Playfly Sports is the full-service, leading sports marketing and media company that enables brands to engage with sports fans on a local, regional, and national level through scaled linear, digital, and experiential assets.
