Joining RPX Optimization’s international team as a Consultant Terminal Planning (m/f/d), you will be shaping the future of terminal solutions for both intermodal and maritime traffic. With our world-wide client base, you will implement pioneering concepts in terminal planning, design, and operation. You will analyze requirements, structure project plans, optimize solutions, and consult clients on their implementation – bringing in your logistical experience and technical expertise. Together, we will guide our clients on their transition to a more digital, efficient, automated, and sustainable logistics value chain.

Your future role at RPX Optimization

• For our clients, you design container terminals and other logistics facilities, located across the globe.
• You analyze requirements, model operational processes, and optimize concepts for greenfield or replacement facilities.
• You engage with our clients on operative, administrative, and shareholder level.
• You facilitate our business development efforts of furthering our client base and acquiring new projects.
• You contribute to our offerings and solutions in the realm of terminal simulation.

Your profile

• You enjoy modeling operational processes, and engaging in discussions with colleagues and clients from different disciplines.
• You have a strong interest in the automation and digitalization of terminal operations.
• You have relevant expertise in the logistics industry, especially in terminal planning and optimization.
• Your initial consulting experience is an advantage and has shaped your client-oriented attitude and work ethic.
• You are comfortable applying your skills to a variety of project situations with changing requirements and objectives.
• You are willing to travel internationally and work with clients from different cultures and backgrounds.
• You are motivated to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
• You are fluent in German and English, additional language skills are a plus.
